Make a difference!

Is it just me?

Doesn’t anyone else see?

All the evils that shouldn’t be

Killing, crime and deceit

That’s not what we are meant to be!

But who am I

To sit down, judge and cry

For 10 million other lies

 I’ll just let it float sky high

Just as it passes them by

Or maybe I should go on and give it a try.

Right here with us, not in outta space

Where we are:  indeed this place

One thing we need is at most peace

Not to be captives we should be released

From battles we do not want to fight

Feeling as though the chains are far too tight

Let’s get down from this traitor height

Then only shall we have a clearer sight.

Beyond measure, I’m sick and tired,

Of all politicians back home who should just be fired!

Ever seen how young innocent people get hired?

To fight, kill and seem like robots which are wired?

Women are always trying

To keep their children from crying

Remember when you are out here shopping and buying

There is someone out there starving and dying!

So as you cuddle for warmth and lie in bed tonight

There’s a boy who doesn’t want to be in the war or to have to fight

Someone is suffering and doesn’t have it so right

A woman who is battered constantly every single night

A sick and homeless child who still affords a smile so bright

A guy who has starved until he is now feather-weight

So wake up tomorrow and make a change it’s never too late!

Be generous and donate as little as a smile!

You won’t believe it but that smile travels more than miles.

Release the white doves,

And share all the love!
